Stock Trading Lessons for Beginners – Module 12 – TRT-POV

Stock Trading Lessons for Beginners is part of the Continuous Education element of my advocacy, Responsible Trading.  In this connection, I am pleased to share these with you. All these lessons are shared without cost to you.  All of these are free.

Before anything else, Congratulations!

If you have gone this far and really absorbed all the lessons and the TRT-POVs that I have shared with you, you are really on your way to becoming a Responsible Trader without even knowing it.

Watching and learning from these 12 Modules require no less than an iron will and a strong determination and I would like to commend all of you for doing that.

Module 12 is the last lesson that we will be sharing from the series Masters Certificate in Technical Analysis produced by Cloud 9 Media Ltd.  At this point, if you have earnestly watched all the videos we have shared together with our TRT-POV you should now be more prepared to trade on your own without depending on other people.

I cannot think of a better way of summarizing everything that we learned  than to share with you how I applied all these lessons in my actual trading. For me Buying is easy, Selling at a Profit is twice as difficult and Selling at a Loss is three times harder.  Everything becomes very difficult  if you do not have a Trading Plan.  I have put everything we have learned in one worksheet – The Responsible Trader’s Trading System.

Part A is for the Trading Rules for Both Buying and Selling where I have indicated my Buy Trigger List, and Sell Trigger List both for Selling for Profit and for Cutting Losses.

Part B  is for the Trading Plan where I fill up all the data I need for decision making.  This covers both the essential Fundamental and Technical Data.  This portion is designed to make automatic computations as I will explain later.

Part C is for taking notes while trading – observations about the stock and about the trade.

Part D  is for Performance Review where I classify the trade and indicate areas for improvement.

I have discussed this system by using MEG as an example in the following video:

JUST A FEW GENTLE REMINDERS

1.  These lessons are not intended to be a substitute for the seminars offered by your broker/s but intended to serve as basic foundation to enable you to better appreciate the seminars offered once you have access to them.

2. I will post the videos and outline the Learning Objectives every Saturday. As a value added, I will post my TRT-POV, (The Responsible Trader’s Point of View)  every Friday  of the following week, unless I am prevented by circumstances beyond my control,  to annotate and explain the trading lessons in a simple and understandable way.

3. After posting this video,  you should then try to compare what I am sharing with what you have  learned. plus your own personal research.   We will repeat the whole process until we finish the whole course.

4.  Learning is better when done in short durations with breaks in between. The learning curve looks like this.

Rate of learning starts slowly then gradually builds up where it becomes fun and enjoyable. After reaching a certain level it  decelerates to the point of boredom.

If you divide your study periods into shorter durations with breaks in-bteween, you are going to double the point where learning is fun and enjoyable and you will be able to retain more materials in your brain.
