All of these ideas were suggested to me by my Webmaster. Incidentally, my Webmaster and Web Admin is my only son and I am very proud of him.

Just a little trivia, since I consider all of you now as family.   During my son’s early years I wanted to get him interested in Chess. Since I used to play in the Executive’s Chess Circuit, I wanted him to be the next Bobby Fischer.  I bought him his first Chess Set – a mini computer I ordered from the States complete with real pawns and pieces with matching blinking lights to indicate and track a move.  He just looked at it brushed it aside and continued playing with his “Game and Watch.”

As he got older, I tried to get him interested in martial arts, I used to practice and teach martial arts to a select group and I was already doing it even before going to the gym became fashionable. (Now you know why Ninjatrader919 was a natural choice for my username. (I found out later that there is a Ninja Trader trading platform as you can see their ad appearing in my Blog.  Incidentally, I  have downloaded the free version of Ninja Trader 7 trading platform and I am  using it now together with the trading platforms provided by my online brokers.   You can also try their free version by clicking on their ad appearing on the right side of  the screen)  I bought my son his first Karate uniform and taught him some basics.  After a few lessons he preferred playing martial arts “Mortal Kombat”  in his “Playstation “

When it was time for him to enter College, for the last time, I asked him if he wanted to be an Accountant to follow my footsteps.  He took up Computer Science instead.

By that time, I was really convinced that he has a mind of his own and that there was nothing I could do for us to have a common interest to improve our bonding as father and son. I just guided him in his studies until he graduated from College.  He is now working as a Web Developer in one of  the firms in Makati. They create Web designs for clients from major parts of the world.

When I started Blogging I thought he didn’t mind me at all.  I was really frustrated because I was expecting that he would at least give me some hand in setting it up since this is what he does in his line of work.  Little did I know  that he was monitoring all the feedback I was getting from Facebook and the visitor response to my Blog. I think they have a special app in their office for doing this.   He shared his observations to his office mates  and they were all impressed that I was getting a response which was very unusual for a beginning blogger like me.

After three days, he surprised me by walking to my room and volunteering to be my Webmaster and Web Admin.  For the first time in our life,  we have something in common that we are both interested in. This makes my blogging doubly fun and enjoyable.  God has finally answered my prayers.

He never fails to give me surprises every time he gives innovative suggestions on Web matters.   He really knows what he is talking about so I decided to leave all Web matters to him so I can focus on promoting my advocacy.

The rest is history.  I hope you like my story and thank you for bearing with me.
