SHLPH (PILIPINAS SHELL PETROLEUM CORPORATION) – JANUARY 3, 2020
TRADING GUIDANCE FOR NEWBIES WHO NEED HAND-HOLDING WHILE LEARNING TO TRADE INDEPENDENTLY
SHLPH ((PILIPINAS SHELL PETROLEUM CORPORATION) appears to have bottomed out giving us a good setup for a Reversal Trade.
To establish our Trading Plan, we use the 52-week High and Low as our basis for drawing the Fibonacci Retracement.
Since you are now very familiar with our TRT Procedures, – Five Questions, we go straight to our findings and observations:
POSITIVE:
- Buy signal as evidenced by the Golden Cross of the 20 SMA and 50 SMA.
- Buy Volume of 87% indicates stock continues to be on Accumulation.
NEGATIVE
- Price action is still below the 200 SMA indicating stock is still Bearish Long-term.
TRADING PLAN
Based on this analysis, following is our Trading Plan
Target Price: P43.00
Buy Price: P34.50
Stop Loss: P32.50
Risk: (P34.50 – P32.50) = P2.00
Reward: (P46.00 – P34.50) = P8.50
Risk/Reward Ratio: (P8.50/P2.00) = 4.25. so 1:4.25
VAR: 1% (1% x P1,000,000.00) = P10,000.00
Position Size: P10,000.00(P34.50 – P32.50)= 5,000 shares
Position Size adjusted for Board Lot: 8,000 shares
Total Amount Committed: (5,000 shares x P34.50.00) = P172,500.00
Trading Capital used is P1,000,000.00. This is scalable up if you have more or down even if you have only P100,000 or less.
Good luck on all your trades.
